Our mission at Whitlock Junior High School is to offer our students a challenging and meaningful educational experience through basic and innovative practices that will enable the students to become responsible and productive citizens now and in the future.

Welcome to our new Web page. Spartanburg School District Seven is in the process of working with the individual schools in creating a new and exciting Web page. Our Web page is the third one to go on-line. We will be using school photographs to share with our community what is happening here.

Careers on Wheels

March 23rd

Whitlock Junior High will host a career fair consisting of vehicles and their operators. We want our students to ask questions about the different modes of transportation and the training required to operate them. Transportation, Distribution and Logistics is one of the sixteen career clusters identified by the U.S. Department of Education. Scheduled to participate are firefighters and a fire truck, National Guardsmen and a Humvee, a hearse and an ambulance, construction equipment and operators and a local car dealership with new cars. We look forward to this activity on March 23rd and we trust our students will find that it sparks their interest in jobs and careers associated with vehicles.
